"We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord,
His power, and the wonders He has done." - Psalm 78:2

Our Mission

To assist parents in the upbringing of young ones in our church by:

teaching children the Bible,
training them to serve the Lord, and
providing a Biblical worship experience for children.

Children's Church

Meeting Time:During the 11:00 Sunday Service
(After the Doxology)
Location: Children's Church Room, 1st Floor

We believe that Children's Church should be a reflection of the adult worship service and an opportunity to both train children in the elements of Christian worship and also to provide them with a sincere worship experience on Sunday mornings. The children who attend are taught a wide variety of Christian material, from elements of worship to different Biblical lessons on matters such as Theology and Moral living.

The Vine

Meeting Time: Wednesdays 7:00pm
(during School year) Location: Classrooms on 1st Floor

Our Wednesday night program, entitled 'The Vine", incorporates the "Children Desiring God" curriculum. This is a very well-put-together curriculum incorporated at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN. The curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of different age groups ranging from pre-school all the way through youth-age. During our Wednesday nights, we also have a time of learning about missions. Children who attend will be divided into four different age groups:

Each group is named after a fruit that grows on vines:

·Birth through Pre-K: "Pumpkins"
·Pre-K through Kindergarten: "Kiwis"
·1st through 3rd Grade: "Grapes"
·4th through 6th Grade: "Pomegranates"

AWANA

Meeting Time:Sundays, 5:30-7:00pm
Location: 1st Floor

Awana is a complete children's training program that meets on Sunday nights, and is a lot of fun for children, as well as a time for them to grow spiritually as they become more familiar with Christianity and God's Word. During this time, children who attend Awana are helped to memorize Bible verses, have opportunities to play a lot of fun games, participate in "theme nights," and even be part of special events, such as the "Awana Grand Prix" where they will design and race wood-block cars. If you would like more information about our Awana program, please contact LBCAwana at triad.rr.com [address spaced to avoid spammers].
