Meet Our Staff
Senior Pastor
Les has degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Trinity Seminary. Les spent twenty-five years as an executive in the telecommunications industry before answering God's call to vocational ministry in 1996. His pastorates have included churches in Texas and North Carolina. Les has two boys, Jon and Rob, who live in Raleigh, NC. Les has been married to his wife, Debbie for thirty-eight years. His interests are studies in small church culture, golf, filmmaking, and NFL football. View Les's Blog
Associate Pastor to Students
Jonathan received his M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary after completing his undergrad degree at Mercer University. After spending most of his life in Georgia, he moved from the Atlanta area to North Carolina in 2007 to follow God's call to Lewisville Baptist Church, where he has since been ordained. He enjoys playing the guitar, watching Georgia Bulldogs football, and spending time with his wife Jeannine.
Secretary
Leslie moved to North Carolina from Georgia in 2005 and has been a valuable
asset to Lewisville Baptist Church. She has volunteer experience in working
with youth and teenagers in a church setting as well as administrative experience.
She and her husband live in King, NC, and have two sons who are attending college
and graduate school. Leslie is also a Georgia bulldogs fan, and enjoys visiting her hometown
of Macon, GA, where her family still lives.
Ms. Martha Evans
Music Director
Martha leads the music in the 11:00 "traditional" service. She has been with Lewisville Baptist church for several years and enjoys leading the congregation in singing and worship. She also oversees all of the choir contatas and special performances in which the choir takes part, as well as the handbell team.
EMPLOYMENT:
Seeking Nursery Director
Lewisville Baptist Church is currently seeking a nursery director who can
oversee the nursery and is experienced in taking care of infants
and young children. The position will include approximately 10 hours
per weeek, and the pay is hourly and based on experience.
