Worship Services

"Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some" -Hebrews 10:25

11:00am Traditional Service

NOTE: Due to the major influx of young adults and families, we are considering offering an early "contemporary" style service. If you would be interested in attending an earlier contemporary service, please let us know. In our 11:00am service, the worship music is played on the organ and the congregation sings the traditional-style hymns. Typical attire ranges anywhere from "dressy" to "business casual" and our dynamic children's church program is offered during this hour (Please see our Children's Ministry page). During our worship service we enjoy Biblically-based sermons delivered by Pastor Les.

6:00pm Sunday Evening Service

Our Evening service is similar in "style" to our Traditional morning service, although in the evening the common attire is more casual. The evening service generally goes from 6pm until 7pm. There is a time of worship singing, and the Pastor preaches another expository lesson from the Holy Bible. If you are unable to attend one of the morning services, please come visit us during the evening! During this time, children may attend AWANA (during the school year) and the youth group also meets.

7:00pm Wednesday Night Bible Study

For our Wednesday night Bible study, Pastor Les or one of the Deacons will lead the church in a Bible-based lesson. Typically, there is also a time of singing. The attire is casual and the worship time is a little more "traditional". During this time, there is a "young adult" small group for young adults and parents, as well as the youth and children's programs which meet downstairs.

No matter which service you attend, you will be sure to receive a kind greeting from the friendly members of the Lewisville Baptist Church family.
